ANN FRASER

Ann is one of the UK's most respected painters of botanical art and she has exhibited widely since her first solo show in London in 1991, including at the Royal Horticultural Society. Her painting 'The Black Border' features in the Shirley Sherwood Collection and has been exhibited around the world at locations such as The Smithsonian Museum in Washington.

Ann and Charles Fraser have lived at Shepherd House, Inveresk since 1957 and every plant that Ann paints has been grown there in their one acre garden. Rosemary Verey, author of many gardening books, once wrote that 'Ann's paintings of flowers are so life-like they could be transported back to her garden'.
