KERRIE MCGIBBON

Kerrie studied drawing and painting at Edinburgh College of Art. She now divides her time between painting and teaching art to children and adults.

Kerrie takes her inspiration from the effects of the ever-changing weather on the Scottish coastline and landscape, capturing fleeting rays of sunshine glancing off the top of a munro or sea mist reaching the shoreline. Her paintings portray the rawness and beauty of nature.

Kerrie also paints atmospheric and enigmatic canvases of her home-town Edinburgh, including the Royal Mile and streets in the New and Old Towns. As a special commission Kerrie has painted Art Amatoria's very own street, Bellevue Crescent.
