BORDERS ARTISTS AT DUNS CASTLE

19TH APRIL TO 7TH MAY 2012

Our fourth annual exhibition of art from the Borders will take place in April in the beautiful surroundings of Duns Castle. We have a fantastic selection of artists taking part this year including landscape artists Amy Marshall, Kate Philp, Douglas Davies, Frances Bell, Sarah Dowse and William Foyle, wildlife artists Claire Weeks and Susan Mitchell and sculpture by Angela Hunter.

As usual there will be more than 100 works of art on display ranging from prints and etchings to large-scale oils.

We are delighted to welcome two of the most exciting botanical artists currently working in th U.K. to Art Amatoria in June. Fiona Stickland and Anna Knights, while differing in style and subject matter, share a desire to take a fresh look at a traditionally conservative form of painting and produce breathtakingly detailed and original watercolours.
